This web site informs the public about facts on childhood cancer,
stories of cancer survivors, clinical trial information of Children's
Cancer Group, and locations of CCG institutions. A separate password-protected
area is maintained for CCG membership. This area contains detailed
CCG protocols, group operational support information, and group collaboration
services such as group-specific mailing lists and web-based conference
board.

POG is a National Cancer Institute sponsored cooperative group of
individuals and institutions dedicated to controlling cancer among
children and adolescents. This site contains listings of POG member
institutions, POG's mission statement, as well as a section for POG
members.
Candlelighters Childhood

This site provides an introduction to the programs and services of
CCCF, including publications and local chapters. CCCF is an international,
non-profit organization dedicated to educating, supporting, serving,
and advocating for families of children of cancer, survivors of childhood
cancer, and the professionals who care for them.

Cancer Care® is an organization that provides assistance free
of charge to people with cancer. This site provides information on
support groups, financial assistance, and cancer treatment.
Corporate Angel Network

The Corporate Angel Network (CAN) provides cancer patients with free
air transportation to and from medial facilities using empty seats
on corporate aircraft. Patients must meet CAN's qualifications, but
do not need to meet any financial need criteria.

SPOHNC is a not-for-profit national organization founded in 1991 to
address the emotional, psychologic, and humanistic needs of oral cancer
and head and neck cancer patients.
National Association of Hospital

The National Association of Hospitality Houses, Inc. is an association
of more than 100 nonprofit organizations located throughout the United
States which provide family-centered lodging and support services
to families of patients receiving medical treatment far from their
homes.
Medical Facilities: NCI-Designated Cancer Centers
With the passage
of the National Cancer Act in 1971, Congress formally recognized the
need for an interdisciplinary approach to cancer treatment, research,
and education. The resulting Cancer Centers Program now supports centers
of four types: comprehensive cancer centers, basic science cancer
centers, clinical cancer centers, and consortium cancer centers.
